Chandigarh, December 15, 2024: In a remarkable feat of determination and talent, 15-year-old Samaira D’Souza, a student of Carmel Convent School, Sector 9, Chandigarh, has won a bronze medal at the 32nd Junior National Fencing Championship 2024-25, held in Patna, Bihar, recently.   Samaira, who began her fencing journey just eight months ago under the expert tutelage of Coach Mukesh Kumar at Apex Fencing Club, showcased exceptional skill and poise in the team epee event - epee is a lightweight fencing sword.
