Shemrock World School Zirakpur's annual festival 'Utkarsh' Concluded

Shemrock World School, Zirakpur, hosted its grand Utkarsh Annual Function 2024, a four-day cultural extravaganza celebrating the talents and creativity of its students. The event, held from December 7th to December 10th, witnessed enthusiastic participation from all students, showcasing their unique skills and performances. 

On the first day of the function, Chief Guest was Amarjit Singh Bajwa, Chairman Shemrock Group of Schools; on the second day, Principal Shri Sukhmani International School, Derabassi and Deputy Director Training Coordinator Mohali Poonam Sharma; on the third day, Derabassi Constituency MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa; on the fourth day, Chief Guest SDM Derabassi Amit Gupta and Special Guests were CBSE Resource Person and present Principal of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Collegiate Public School, Chandigarh Amanpreet Kaur and Satish Kaushal who graced the occasion with their presence and inspired the young minds with their motivational addresses.

Each day of the function presented a vibrant blend of performances, beginning with the auspicious Ganesh Vandana and lamp-lighting ceremony. Highlights included mesmerizing acts such as the Hanuman Chalisa, Himachali Nati, and the patriotic tribute to Subhash Chandra Bose. Plays focusing on themes like cyber safety and cancer awareness emphasized the importance of societal values. Lively dances, soulful songs, and powerful orchestral renditions captivated the audience, reflecting the diversity and creativity nurtured at the school.

The event also honored the contributions of the school staff and support team with heartfelt gestures. The final day concluded with dynamic performances like Bhangra and Gidda, leaving the audience spellbound. The Annual Function reinforced the school’s commitment to holistic education and was celebrated as a testament to unity and excellence.
