Yoga Guru Swami Ramdev supports Indian Education Board advocates for ‘One Nation One Education’

The two-day 'School Leaders' Summit-2024 started today at Hotel Park Plaza, Zirakpur, Chandigarh under the aegis of Federation of Private Schools, Haryana and NISA. World renowned yoga guru and spiritual guide Swami Ramdev attended the program as the chief guest. He expressed his views on the innovative revolution in education and the steps required to make the New Education Policy (NEP) successful. On the occasion NISA President Dr. Kulbhushan Sharma and Executive Director (former) IAS Nagendra Prasad Singh of the Indian Education Board were also present with him.
While addressing the journalists, Swami Ramdev, while talking about promoting the Indian Education Board, emphasized on the slogan ‘One Nation One Education’. He said that there should be Sanatan consciousness in education, there should be consciousness about India's overall cultural, social, political, economic heritage, and we must move forward with all these . He said that children should study history, Vedic Math in Math, Vedic Science in Science and all the children should have a sense of unity and integrity of India, national religion, love for the nation, thinking of national interest and our future generations should become divine citizens. During the event, when journalists asked about a strong Lokpal, he said that his struggle for a strong and effective Lokpal is still going on.
NISA President Dr. Kulbhushan Sharma said that 100 Model schools will be built in Haryana and Delhi NCR and these schools will be accessed first by mapping them with NISA's quality charter. He said that whatever shortcomings are found in these schools, efforts will be made to eliminate them, so that these become quality schools and prove to be exemplary for the whole country. He said that NISA will help step by step in realizing the dream of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to make the country a world leader.
Dr. Kulbhushan Sharma said that a large number of school directors and principals from various states across the country like Haryana, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, Delhi, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh etc. participated in today's program. This event provided a unique platform for innovation, leadership and effective implementation of the new education policy in the education sector. All the schools present in this summit together resolved to make the new education policy successful and work together for its effective implementation.
Speaking at this summit, Executive Director (Former) IAS Nagendra Prasad Singh of the Indian Education Board said that it is necessary to change the form of education with time. He said that in today's time, education means only getting a job, due to which there is a lack of leadership and support in the students. He said that the Indian Education Board will overcome this shortage. He said that this summit has been organised with the aim of giving a new direction to the future of education, discussing policy changes and empowering school leadership.
